How to configure your sub-domain or domain for Random Sounds White Label

How exciting! You're already setting up your domain so you can manage your own distributor! In this article we show you how to move forward.

To advance with the configuration you must decide if you'll use your distributor's web application on a sub-domain (example: app.yourdistributor.com) or in the main domain (example: yourdistributor.com).

We recommend using a sub-domain for your distribution application

Option 1: Web application on Sub-domain

To configure the web application on your sub-domain (app.yourdistributor.com) you'll do the following:

Step 1: Create CNAME record

In your Registrar or DNS administrator, you must create the CNAME record with the following data:

Name

Type

Value

TTL

@

CNAME

whitelabel.sounds.co

32600

Step 2: Notify your Account Executive

Once this is configured, notify your account executive to proceed with the installation of the system on the configured sub-domain.

Option 2: Web application on Main Domain

To configure the web application on your main domain (yourdistributor.com) you will have to do the following:

Step 1: Create CNAME record

In your Registrar or DNS administrator, you must create the CNAME record with the following data:

Step 2: Notify your Account Executive

Once this is configured, notify your account executive to proceed with the installation of the system on the configured domain.
