Get the details of all the fields in the Random Sounds White Label royalty report file.

Once you receive the royalty report in CSV format, you can open the report in your preferred calculation software, such as Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. In this article, we will detail what the columns in the file refer to.

Dictionary of Fields:

  • Sale ID: The identifier of each sale.

  • Parent Sale ID: The parent sale identifier if the sale is a split. If the sale is not a split, this column is left empty.

  • Sales Report Batch: The identifier of the report import batch.

  • Owner User ID: The identifier of the user who owns the sale.

  • Owner User Name: The name of the user who owns the sale.

  • Owner User Email: The email of the user who owns the sale.

  • Release ID: The identifier of the release.

  • Release UPC: The UPC (or EAN) code of the release.

  • Release Name: The name of the release.

  • Release Version: The version of the release. This field is empty if the release has no version.

  • Song ID: The song ID for the sale. This field is empty if it is a release sale.

  • Song ISRC: The ISRC code of the song being sold. This field is empty if it is a release sale.

  • Song Name: The name of the song of the sale. This field is empty if it is a release sale.

  • Song Version: The version of the song of the sale. This field is empty if it is a release sale or if the song does not have a version.

  • Artist ID: The identifier of the first artist on the release, also known as the Primary Artist.

  • Artist Name: The name of the Primary Artist of the release.

  • Country ID: The identifier of the country from which the sale originated.

  • Country Name: The name of the country from which the sale originated.

  • Platform ID: The identifier of the platform of the sale.

  • Platform Name: The name of the platform of the sale.

  • Sale Type ID: The identifier of the type of sale.

  • Sale Type Name: The name of the type of sale.

  • Sale Reporting Period: The sale reporting period. The format is Year-Month.

  • Sale Year: The year of the sale.

  • Sale Month: The month of the sale.

  • Sale Quantity: The quantity of the sale.

  • Net Amount after Tenant Contract: The amount of the sale after the Random Sounds commission.

  • Tenant Withholding Tax Rate: The percentage remaining on the White Label after tax withholding. The calculation is 100 - % Tax Withholding.

  • Net Amount after Tenant Withholding: The amount of the sale after tax withholding. This is the amount that will be updated on the White Label balance.

  • User Contract ID: The contract identifier of the user who owns the sale.

  • User Contract Rate: The percentage remaining to the White Label user after the White Label commission. The calculation is 100 - % User Commission.

  • Net Amount after User Contract: The net amount of the sale after the White Label commission.

  • Split Rate: The percentage that the user will receive. If this song does not have a split, the amount that will appear in this field is 100.

  • Net Amount after User Split: The net amount of the sale after the royalty split. This is the amount that will be updated in the user's balance.
